In this our 151st episode of the Braingasm Podcast Kurt is back!
We began as we do every week by talking about where they get the donor penises for sex change operations.
After that we talk about the summer’s best television shows. We deep dive on Nathan For You and Gravity Falls. We also talk about Halt and Catch Fire briefly as well as Pushing Daisies.
After that we talked about the bummer news of the week which is the untimely passing of Robin Williams. We talk about the nature of depression, and our mutual frustration with people only caring about mental illness in the time immediately following a tragic public suicide.
We talked about all of the weird stuff that has happened since the last time we recorded together, and how Vladimir Putin is really killing it on the evil super-midget front. He’s putting up career numbers.
Of course it wouldn’t be a Ben and Kurt episode if we didn’t talk about vidya games. We talked about DOTA, Papers Please, and a bunch of other games. FInally we ended with a little Guardians of the Galaxy.
This was a jam packed hour. Lots of laughs, lots of side boob, lots of grown men screaming into the void. Enjoy.
In this our 150th episode we take some time to look back on Braingasms of old…With Clips!
We began as we do every week by attempting to sing the Rocky theme song in unison.
After that we talked about the show. We remembered fond memories, favourite episodes, we played some clips. It was a real Braingasm love in. We also dusted off Made Up Movie Game…Thing for what I think might be our most spectacular round ever. Hint: Lots of shirtless Efron ladies (amiright?!)
Couldn’t think of a better way to spend 150 episodes. Here’s to at least 14 more!
In this our 148th episode of the Braingasm podcast we talk about stardom, both old and new.
We began as we do every week with Ben enjoying it thoroughly and Cesca protesting the whole way through.
After that we talked about how weird it is to have fans and how we cope with it (hint: not well). Cesca told stories about some of the fan encounters that she had on previous ventures. Ben talked about why he prefers to have random fans, and not people he knows listen to the show. All that good stuff.
After that we talked about some of the most classic stars of yesteryear. We talked about James Dean and Marlon Brando’s Chester and Spike-esque relationship. How Ben has never really gotten into Elvis. How celebrities could get away with anything back in the day.
This was a fun, jaunty episode. Much lighter than our more recent outings. Enjoy.
